| The actim™ Partus-Test is a one step mid stream stick test for the detection of phosphorylated IGFBP-1 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1) in cervial secretion. The test is performed by dipping the test strip into the extracted cervical secretion sample. A prediction can be made of premature birth, respectively the readiness of birth by intact membrane, that is confirmed by a negative test result of the actim™ PROM-Test. Package Contents:- 3 Partus tests, each consisting of the following components:
- A sterile Dacron swabs for the sample collection
- 1 Tube extraction buffer (0.5 ml): Phosphate buffered solution with bovine serum albumin (BSA), detergent, protease inhibitors and preservatives
- 1 Test strip and desiccant in the foil pouch
- 1 User manual

- Sensitivity: 73.7% (ET for the 36st week)
- Specificity: 82.6% (ET for the 36st week)
- Storage: The test packet should be stored upright between 2°C to 8°C for up to 2 months.
